- "The Noosa Journal", local weekly newspaper, kindly did a thorough review of the environmental video. The following is a reprint:
Nature-lovers are in for a treat with the recent release of a one-hour documentary shot exclusively in the Noosa Heads section of the Noosa National Park.
So, armed with a digital camera and an "eye for art", Mr. Draper set about capturing the sights and sounds of the 454-hectare park in all seasons and time of day. Believing that nature sells itself, he employed ani
mals as the principle actors and relied on images and sub-text to propel people along.
Mr. Draper captures a kaleidoscope of parklife, from the very small, such as bees and other insect life, to park icon, the koala. Flora also takes centre stage, including some 30 wildflowers which see the park blossom with colour in Spring.
The film has it all, from the scenic beauty of look-outs as at The Boiling Pot, Tea Tree Bay, Dolphin Point, Hell's Gates, Lion Rock and Devil's Kitchen, to rainforest, open forest, shrublands and grasslands.
