Identification sought after!

We would appreciate it if anyone can identify the artist's symbol shown below centre, of the panel illustrated directly below. The original etching, depicted entirely, at the left of panel, portrays of course, the readily recognizable, Franz Kafka. It was gifted to the gallery about twenty-five years ago. The rest of the panel simply depicts details to assist identification of the artist.
